  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to pediatric patients
  • Perform physical examinations and diagnose and treat pediatric conditions
  • Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications within your scope of practice
  • Order and review laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging
  • Refer patients to specialists and coordinate appropriate follow-up care
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records
  • Complete patient documentation within required time frames
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding health and wellness
  • Maintain efficient patient flow and productivity standards
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and the pediatric care team
  • Participate in health fairs, prevention programs, and community initiatives
  • Mentor medical students and clinical support staff as appropriate

 

What We Are Looking For

  • Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current unrestricted Texas Nurse Practitioner license
  • Board certification through PNCB, AANP, or ANCC
  • Current DEA registration
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Previous Pediatric Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
  • Bilingual English and Spanish highly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays
Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour

Pulse Staffing is conducting a confidential search for a licensed Physical Therapist to join a respected, multidisciplinary medical practice serving the San Antonio community.

This part-time opportunity is ideal for a Physical Therapist interested in supplementing their current schedule while providing personalized care in a collaborative outpatient environment. The position primarily focuses on orthopedic rehabilitation, with some cardiac reconditioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients’ physical abilities, limitations, goals, and treatment needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Support patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and participating in cardiac reconditioning.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate and motivate patients throughout the rehabilitation process.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation.
  • Deliver compassionate care to patients with a wide range of needs and personalities.

Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted Texas Physical Therapist license required.
  • Graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Previous clinical experience as a Physical Therapist preferred.
  • Current knowledge of physical therapy treatments and best practices.
  • Strong assessment, treatment-planning, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be available to work Mondays and Wednesdays.
