This role requires regular travel between school sites and the ability to adapt to different educational environments.</p>  <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p>  <p>Student Physicals and Preventative Care</p>  <ul>  <li>Perform routine physical examinations, including vision and hearing screenings.</li>  </ul>  <ul>  <li>Verify immunization records and ensure compliance with state and school health regulations.</li>  </ul>  <ul>  <li>Assess and address student health concerns and provide referrals as needed.</li>  </ul>  <p>Healthcare Services</p>  <ul>  <li>Administer first aid and treat minor injuries and illnesses.</li>  </ul>  <ul>  <li>Document chronic health conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and severe allergies.</li>  </ul>  <ul>  <li>Document prescribed medications per school policies and physician guidelines.</li>  </ul>  <p>Health Records and Compliance</p>  <ul>  <li>Maintain accurate, confidential student health records in accordance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations.</li>  </ul>  <ul>  <li>Update medical histories and immunization records as required.</li>  </ul>  <ul>  <li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health and safety regulations.</li>  </ul>  <p>Collaboration and Communication</p>  <ul>  <li>Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student health concerns.</li>  </ul>  <ul>  <li>Provide health education and training to students, staff, and parents on wellness and safety topics.</li>  </ul>  <ul>  <li>Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with chronic conditions.</li>  </ul>  <ul>  <li>Refer students to healthcare providers when further medical attention is necessary.</li>  </ul>  <p>School Health and Safety Initiatives</p>  <ul>  <li>Assist in the development and enforcement of school health policies and procedures.</li>  </ul>  <ul>  <li>Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care.</li>  </ul>  <ul>  <li>Promote a safe school environment by implementing health and wellness initiatives.</li>  </ul>  <p>&nbsp;</p>  </div>  </div>]]></description>
