Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients in various settings, including private residences, hospitals, and clinics. The role requires a dedicated individual who can work 2-3 shifts per week with rotating weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in different healthcare settings.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of patients and their families to ensure comprehensive care.
- Implement preventive, rehabilitative, and therapeutic measures as needed.
- Educate patients on safety precautions, medication administration, and appropriate healthcare practices.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other modalities as prescribed by physicians.
Qualifications:
- Must have 1-2 years of recent full-time experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in patient care settings such as inpatient, home community care, or urgent care is preferred.
- Current RN license in good standing with the relevant licensing board.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or equivalent.
- Proficiency in venipuncture and other clinical procedures.
- Knowledge of esthetic laser treatment, ophthalmology, and workers compensation law is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for patient transfers and perform physical tasks required for patient care.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make sound nursing judgments.
