RN Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Job Requirements

We are looking for OR Registered Nurses who combine a true passion for providing the best Operating Room nursing care, with a demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures. In addition, you should be team-oriented and compassionate professional committed to always providing exceptional service. It is also important that you are highly organized and that you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work well with a diverse population.

OR Circulating Duties

• Assisting with equipment and processing of necessary tools
• Serving as a patient advocate and always ensuring patient safety
• Assisting the surgeon with invasive procedures
• Assisting with positioning the patient
• Monitoring the patient's condition throughout the entire surgical process and acting quickly to respond to any changes
• always Maintaining the sterile field
• Exhibiting skillful clinical judgment and assessment skills

Specific qualifications for this OR nursing role include:

• Minimum 1 year of OR experience
• Current and valid BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high risk environment

• Must meet Pulse Staffing’s hiring criteria

• Travel experience, a plus
