Pulse Staffing is currently seeking experienced provider relations representatives for a busy hospital in the Bellaire area of Houston, TX. There are 5 available positions.


Position is responsible for:

Develops, updates and maintains written and online tools for provider education and support

Identifies resources available internally and externally for education and future communications

Creates and leads individual and group formal and informal trainings

Coordinates with appropriate personnel on issues identified and creates material accordingly. System and provider updates

Analyzing and validating provider information from multiple sources

Audits provider changes to ensure changes are complete and accurate.

Ensure ongoing relationships with specified providers or provider types including audits and reviews and report preparation

Reviews request for provider portal access for HIPAA need, security set up and coordinates changes to security with other departments prior to granting access.

Reviews with provider office the roles and responsibility of the site administrator

Documents all provider transactions in system for regulatory compliance.

Develop relationships and standards with specified providers or provider types including audits and reviews and report presentation


The department is looking for employees with these skills: Contract Specialist, Multitasker, Critical Thinker, Organizational and Great Communication Skills

Skills:

Knowledge of the managed healthcare environment.
High proficiency with computer word-processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, as well as a high level of interpersonal skills.
Ability to create and prepare power point material for multiple media presentation.
Professional business and managed healthcare vocabulary is a requirement.

Knowledge of Cactus and Unix softwares

Education:

H.S. Diploma or GED- Required

5 years health care administration or managed care experience- Required (A Bachelor s degree in business administration, health education or related field may substitute for four years of the health care administration or managed care experience)
