What You'll Do

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a home setting

Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance

Offer companionship and emotional support

Observe and report changes in the client's condition

Promote safety, comfort, dignity, and independence

Work independently while maintaining the highest standards of care

 

 

Job Requirements

 

                                                                

 

 
  Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional Home Health Aide (HHA) experience required
  • Previous private duty or home health experience strongly preferred
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification
  • Current TB test or chest X-ray clearance
  • Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and confidently in a private home setting
  • Reliable and committed to providing consistent, high-quality care
  • Ability to assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and personal care
  • Must meet all Uptown Homecare credentialing and pre-employment requirements
