Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately collecting, labeling, and processing blood specimens while delivering exceptional service to patients. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages.

Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of specimens.

Prepare, process, and store blood samples according to laboratory protocols.

Maintain accurate documentation and complete requisitions.

Ensure proper sanitation and follow infection control procedures.

Provide excellent customer service and maintain patient comfort.

Transport specimens to the laboratory when required.

Maintain phlebotomy equipment and inventory of supplies.
Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Phlebotomy certification (CPT, RPT, or equivalent) preferred.

Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred; willing to train new graduates.

Knowledge of specimen handling, labeling, and safety practices.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work efficiently and maintain accuracy under pressure.
