What You’ll Do
- Welcome and assist patients with professionalism and compassion
- Obtain and document vital signs and patient information
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Assist physicians and other healthcare providers during patient visits
- Perform basic clinical and administrative duties
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records
- Schedule appointments and assist with patient communication
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Assist with specimen collection and other clinical tasks as permitted by training and credentials
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive patient experience
- Protect patient confidentiality and follow all applicable health care regulations
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Medical Assistant experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant certification preferred, depending on assignment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, dependable, and compassionate
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced health care environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and health care teams
- Current health care credentials and required documentation, as applicable
