Job Description
Pulse Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Bilingual Medical Assistant to join a busy healthcare clinic in the Houston area. We’re looking for a dependable, professional candidate who is passionate about patient care and can communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
Position Overview:
The Medical Assistant will support physicians and nurses by providing direct patient care, performing routine clinical and administrative duties, and helping ensure smooth clinic operations. The ideal candidate will be bilingual, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and prepare patients for exams, documenting medical history and vital signs.

Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures.

Administer injections, perform EKGs, and collect specimens for laboratory testing.

Maintain and update patient records in the EMR system.

Schedule appointments, answer phones, and manage patient flow efficiently.

Communicate clearly with patients in both English and Spanish to ensure understanding of care instructions.

Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked clinical environment.
Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred.

Bilingual – fluent in English and Spanish (required).

1+ year of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting.

Current CPR/BLS certification.

Knowledge of EMR systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar) preferred.

Strong communication and patient service skills.
