Job Description

Experience: 2+ years of sales experience in the health care sector, preferably in home health, hospice, or medical sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Development:
    • Identify, target, and establish relationships with potential referral sources such as hospitals, clinics, physician offices, nursing homes, and other healthcare providers.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to increase the referral base and achieve admission goals.
    • Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations.
    • Conduct meetings, presentations, and educational in-services to inform clients about home health services, including available care plans and benefits.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for referral sources, ensuring a seamless communication channel to facilitate referrals.
  3. Sales & Marketing Activities:
    • Create and execute outreach strategies to increase patient admissions in alignment with company goals.
    • Organize and participate in local events, health fairs, and other networking opportunities to promote home health services.
    • Collaborate with marketing and clinical teams to support brand visibility, materials, and service awareness campaigns.
  4. Tracking & Reporting:
    • Monitor referral activity, pipeline status, and admissions using CRM software and other tools.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, results, and forecasts to the management team.
    • Provide insights and feedback from the field to help improve service offerings and sales approaches.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Skills:

    • Strong understanding of home health services, Medicare/Medicaid, and private insurance requirements.
    • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual communication tools. 

 

Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Health care Administration, or a related field is preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within the assigned territory.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours as needed to meet with healthcare providers and attend community events.
