What You'll Do
· Perform expert venipunctures, capillary punctures, and other blood collection procedures with precision, safety, and minimal discomfort.
· Verify patient identity using two or more identifiers and clearly explain procedures to ease anxiety and gain cooperation.
· Collect specimens following strict protocols to ensure integrity, while watching for any adverse reactions and responding promptly.
· Provide empathetic, patient-centered care in fast-paced hospital and clinical settings across the Houston area.

Job Requirements
What We're Looking For
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 2+ Years Experience
· Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program or equivalent hands-on clinical experience.
· Current national phlebotomy certification (e.g., ASCP PBT, NHA CPT, or equivalent) strongly preferred (and required by some clients).
· Solid knowledge of medical terminology, relevant anatomy/physiology, lab procedures, and infection control standards.
· Proficiency with lab information systems, basic computer skills, and electronic documentation.
· The ability to travel between locations.
· Open to temporary and/or temp to permanent positions.
Your Key Strengths
· Proven expertise in venipuncture and capillary techniques across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
· Outstanding communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills, you naturally build trust and calm even the most anxious patients.
· Sharp attention to detail, ability to stay accurate and multitask under pressure in busy environments.
· Strong commitment to safety, biohazard handling, and creating a positive patient experience every time.
