Position: Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)
Employment Type: PRN
Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)—Baytown-7A-7P & 7P-7A .
PRN Monday-Sunday,
 
 Responsibilities  
  • Performs basic patient care activities of daily living (ADL's) within unit specific defined limits and job scope, such as assistance with patient elimination, hygiene, comfort, safety, nutrition, and progress activity
  • Providing medication reminders and assisting with medication administration under the supervision of a nurse
  • Monitoring residents' health status and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
  • Ensuring residents' safety and comfort at all times
  • Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing companionship
  • Maintaining a clean and organized living environment for residents
 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Current CNA certification in Texas
  • Certified in Basic Life Support issued by (AHA) American Heart Association
  • Previous  2 years of experience working as a CNA in a facility setting.
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
     
License/Certification:
  • Certified in Basic Life Support issued by (AHA) American Heart Association
  • State Tested Nursing Assistant (Texas) (Required)
