Job Requirements

We are looking for Cath Lab Tech who combine a true passion for providing the best care, with a demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures. In addition, you should be team-oriented and compassionate professional committed to always providing exceptional service. It is also important that you are highly organized and that you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work well with a diverse population.

Catheterization Laboratory Technologist / Technician Duties:

• Triple lumen catheter placement
• Performing lab administrative duties and supply inventory
• Performs inventory management for the Cath Lab
• If applicable, ensure POU items have the appropriate barcodes, ensure items are cross referenced in Optiflex, rotate stock to ensure no items are out of date, react appropriately to POU “critical point” messages and stock outs, provide assistance to the POU Station personnel provide assistance with problems, questions and concerns
• Participates in an environment that ensures quality work, group morale and is conductive to maintaining effective lines of communication
• Demonstrates teamwork approach by assisting coworkers in expediting processes to ensure efficient and effective workflow in the delivery of quality care
• Provides excellent customer service to our patients, physicians, offices and coworkers
• Assists physicians in cases of adverse reaction or in acute emergencies as necessary
• Demonstrates knowledge of emergency codes, location of emergency equipment and method of activation
• Fulfills requirements of Scrub Position giving care appropriate to age under supervision of physician

Specific qualifications for this Cath Lab Tech role include:

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Tech experience

• Must have Texas License
• Must have ARRT Certification or CCI Certification (Client requirements will apply)
• Must have BLS certification
• Must have ACLS certification (Client requirements will apply)

• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-risk environment

• Must meet Pulse Staffing’s hiring criteria

• Travel experience, a plus
