Position Summary
We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Bilingual Medical Front Office Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. This individual will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional patient experience by providing administrative support, managing front desk operations, and ensuring efficient communication in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a warm, professional manner
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries in both English and Spanish
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations
- Collect co-pays, balances, and process payments accurately
- Maintain and update patient records in the EMR/EHR system
- Coordinate patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding patient flow and needs
- Handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as faxing, scanning, and filing
Qualifications
- Required: Fluent in both Spanish and English (verbal and written)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of medical front office experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems (Epic REQUIRED)
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional demeanor with a patient-first mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a specialty practice (e.g., neurology, pediatrics, internal medicine)
- Familiarity with prior authorizations and referral processes
- Experience handling high patient volume
