Pulse Staffing is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. You will play a key role in preventive care, acute illness management, chronic disease treatment, and patient education. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse populations
  • Perform physical examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
  • Manage an average of 30 patients per day
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment plans

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Active FNP license with current state certification
  • Experience in primary care settings preferred
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth
  • Strong clinical skills across:
    • Acute and chronic care management
    • Infectious diseases
    • Pediatrics (including neonatal and toddler care)
    • Geriatrics and behavioral health

Clinical & Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of:
    • Medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
    • CPT and ICD-9/10 coding for accurate documentation and billing
  • Experience with procedures such as:
    • Suturing
    • Phlebotomy and venipuncture
    • Sterile processing techniques
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • ICU, hospital, trauma, or emergency room experience preferred

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience working with diverse populations, including patients with:
    • Developmental disabilities
    • Dementia or Alzheimer’s disease
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care
  • Comfort with telehealth platforms is a plus
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
