Private Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Uptown Homecare is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide exceptional one-on-one care for clients in the Humble and Kingwood, Texas areas.

Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
- Prepare nutritious meals and provide feeding assistance as needed.
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with the established plan of care.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, changing linens, and maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement to promote the client's overall well-being.
- Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands as needed.
- Observe, document, and promptly report any changes in the client's physical, mental, or emotional condition.
- Ensure the highest standards of safety, dignity, and quality of care are maintained at all times.

Job Requirements
Qualifications

Current Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred; Home Health Aide (HHA) experience will also be considered.

Minimum of 1–2 years of recent home care, private-duty, or long-term care experience preferred.

Current CPR/BLS certification required.

Current TB test or chest X-ray

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.

Demonstrates a compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach to care.

Ability to safely lift, transfer, reposition, and assist clients with mobility and activities of daily living.

Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Must be reliable, trustworthy, and committed to providing exceptional care.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to safely assist clients with transfers, ambulation, and mobility.

Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks associated with personal care and household assistance.
