Pulse Staffing has positions for experience contact center representatives with a busy hospital in the Medical Center.
Position will be responsible for: scheduling outpatient medical appointments in a contact center environment. Candidates will be responsible for satisfactorily completing the Revenue Cycle new hire training course to learn Epic navigation insurance contract knowledge and understanding of clinic scheduling requirement.
Job duties include: answering inbound and making outbound calls to customers regarding account management patient scheduling data entry of patient demographic data and processing insurance referrals and authorization requests. Other duties as assigned.
HS diploma or GED required. Must be fluent in both English and Spanish. Excellent customer service skills and EPIC experience preferred. Previous use of Epic Cadence scheduling software would be helpful. 2+ years of recent experience in a health care setting scheduling appointments and verifying insurance and authorization requests.
