RN Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Nurses 

(ER RN Nursing / Emergency Room / Emergency Department/ ER / ED / Travel Nurse / Healthcare / Medical Staffing / Professional Services)

Job Requirements

We are looking for ER RN Registered Nurses who combine a true passion for providing the best Medical Surgical nursing care, with a demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures. In addition, you should be team-oriented and compassionate professional committed to always providing exceptional service. It is also important that you are highly organized and that you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work well with a diverse population.

Medical Surgical Nursing Duties

• Coordinates patient intake
• Stabilizing patients, providing basic life support, administering medications, and initiating corrective actions
• Provides treatments ordered by physician
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Collaborate with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each patient.

Specific qualifications for this ER / ED nursing role include:

• Minimum 1 year of ER RN experience
• Current and valid BLS certification
• Current and Valid ACLS certification (Client requirement will apply)
• Current and Valid PALS certification (Client requirement will apply)
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-risk environment

• Must meet Pulse Staffing’s hiring criteria

• Travel experience, a plus
