LVN Licensed Vocational Nurse – LVN / LPN Nurse

Job Requirements

We are looking for Licensed Vocational Nurses who combine a true passion for providing the best nursing care, with a demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures. In addition, you should be team-oriented and compassionate professional committed to always providing exceptional service. It is also important that you are highly organized and that you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work well with a diverse population.

LVN Duties

• Monitoring and recording vital signs
• Updating patient charts
• Offering bedside care
• Assisting in nursing care
• Dressing wounds
• Administering medications
• Organizing medication of patients
• Providing meals
• Cleaning and managing medical equipment and instruments
• Starting intravenous (IV) fluids

Specific qualifications for this LVN nursing role include:

• Minimum 1 year of LVN experience (Hospital, Rehab, LTC (nursing homes, Long Term Care), LTAC (Long Term Acute Care)

• Must have Texas or Compact LVN license
• Must have BLS certification
• Must have ACLS certification (if client requires)

• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-risk environment

• Must meet Pulse Staffing’s hiring criteria

• Travel experience, a plus
